Overview
Ferro built frames one at a time by hand, but its branding looked mass-produced a stock logo font, glossy product shots that could belong to any bike company, and no visible trace of the welding and filing that actually happens in the shop.
The goal was an identity that reads as handmade without slipping into rustic cliché, credible enough for riders who care about geometry and tube gauge as much as looks.
We built the system around the frame-builder's own blueprint drawings the actual angle diagrams used to cut miters as the core graphic language, paired with a raw, unlacquered steel palette and a single utilitarian type family.
The new site documents each frame's build process step by step instead of just showing the finished bike, giving customers the same transparency they'd get walking into the shop in person.
